The school is granted a land site of 1.8 acres on Pusa Road by the Ministry of Works and Housing.

Mr. Yudhister Kumar constructs temporary building on site to accommodate senior students. Junior classes remain at East Patel Nagar.

A Board of Governors of distinguished educationists set up for the school with Dr. K.G Saiyidain as its Chairperson, Dr. VS Jha (former Vice Chancellor, Benaras University), Mr. KPS Menon (India’s first Foreign Secretary), Mrs. Muriel Was (Educational Advisor to the Govt. of India) and Gen. Kumaramangalam (India’s Chief of Army staff) as its members.

Springdales presents its first major cultural performance ‘Man through the Ages’ – scripted by Mr. and Mrs. Kumar and directed as a labour of love by Mr. Ebrahim Alkazi (Director, National School of Drama) with Mrs. Roshan Alkazi in charge of costumes and permanent stage set designed and constructed by Mr. Alkazi. Over 800 students took part with an audience of 1800 people.
