A photograph captures light being reflected off the subject. Using natural light has been a very gratifying experience for me. Not only do I love the challenge of making the most of what’s available but the resulting images are far lovelier than any artificial light setup.

I love shooting in the golden hour to get that lovely haze and soft glow on my subjects. That golden rim of light around those adorable little heads in my images just makes my day. Depending on the season and the time of sunset we can choose the ideal location and time to schedule an outdoor photography session.

I am an IT engineer and an MBA graduate from IIM Calcutta. I left my cushy corporate job of 9 years to follow my dreams. My passion for portrait photography blossomed as I became a mother to a beautiful boy. While capturing his tiny toes and fingers, I found my passion.

I have a weakness for Beautiful Light. And, as a natural light photographer, I only use the light that is available. That means, no flash and artificial light. Just like my lighting preference my photography style is also natural and candid.

One of my key strengths lies in connecting with people and capturing their unique stories through my lens. I love capturing the often unnoticed quiet moments and try to capture each story in a beautiful yet honest way.

I love candid smiles and lots of emotion. My favorite photos are always the true ones; the ones that make you smile when you look at them, or maybe cry a tear or two. I have exactly one rigid non negotiable rule for myself as a photographer: I don’t shoot fake smiles. Period. It is my job to make you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.

On the personal front, I have had an interesting journey from a marketing & strategy professional to Baby, Maternity, Kids and Family Photographer. Its been a beautiful road to self discovery and finding joy and purpose through photography.

I am also a mother to a cute little fighter jet and shark obsessed (for now..) monkey . And wife to a loving and extremely supportive husband. Personality wise I am a bit of a goofball and you may find me weird. But I promise you, your session would be a memorable one. In fact, I will make sure your Photo Shoot is ACTUALLY FUN !

I don’t think I could get such a great and warm environment anywhere else. All the team members were so co-operative and understanding as my baby was not feeling comfortable at first but they made sure the baby gets all the comfort. They made sure that we get the best of the shoot as the new born shoot was supposed to be with closed eyes and my baby was not sleeping at all. They tried to make my baby sleep with such a ease and they very well succeeded.

I don’t think any other photographer would have been so patient and would have given so much time and effort.. I even had my maternity shoot with them and I must say I was really very satisfied with that as well.
